Raubex Contractors awarded a contract to tar the Mambwe-Mpika road under the Link Zambia 8,000 Project.

Government has awarded Raubex and another company a contract to tar the Mambwe-Mpika road under the Link Zambia 8,000 Project.
Eastern Province Permanent Secretary Chanda Kasolo has confirmed to Breeze News in Mambwe.
Mr. Kasolo says that the road project is expected to link Great North Road in an effort to allow easy connection between the two regions.
He explained that contractor was expected to start working on the road which would start from Jumbe via Chitungulu in Lundazi District to Mpika district in Muchinga Province.
Mr Kasolo who did not disclose the contractual sum says Raubex had already moved on site in order to start the construction project of the road.
The permanent secretary also expressed happiness with the quality of works on Mfuwe-Cropping road, which Sable Construction Company is undertaking.
Meanwhile, Mambwe Police Station which was in a bad state is currently under rehabilitation.
Mr Kasolo had expressed disappointment with the bad state of the police station whose roof was brown off.
