Workers at Safety Zone Security in Chipata district have complained of non-payment of salaries for three months.
One of the workers Moses Mbewe told Breeze News that the company has not been paying them from July to August this year.
Mr Mbewe stated that the company threatened to fire all the workers who had protested a few weeks ago.
And ZANIS reports that some workers stormed their offices on Tuesday this week to air their grievances.
One of the workers Martha Phiri complained that the workers at the company did not sign contract agreements even after working for more than a year.
And when contacted for a comment, Area Manager, Charles Simukwanya confirmed the non-payment of salaries for the workers but said the company owes its workers two months salary arrears and not three.
Mr Simukwanya stated that the company was doing everything possible to pay workers their dues for the two months of August and September.
He stated that the salary request for two months has been forwarded to the security company headquarters in Lusaka and that there is assurance to settle the arrears.
