Some residents of Msanzala and Manyane areas in Petauke district are stigmatizing people living with HIV.
Petauke NZP Plus Coordinator, Colombia Changa has confirmed the development in an interview with Breeze News.
Ms. Changa says that NZP Plus has received reports that people from these two areas stigmatize their members when they meet them during sensitization meetings on issues of HIV.
She says that it is sad that a lot of people living with HIV in the district have defaulted treatment and have died because of stigma.
And Ms. Changa has urged people living with HIV and are on treatment to report any side effects to trained medical staff at the ART clinic.
She revealed that some volunteers at some ART clinics were being hash to clients, which is wrong.
