Some youths in Chipata have expressed concern with lack of employment in the country.
This comes in light of the Labour Day commemoration, which will fall on the 1st of May.
Precious Seketa says the job situation in Zambia seems to have worsened in the recent years and that she has since resorted to doing business.
She says that some of the initiatives government was thinking of putting in place to help alleviate the job situation are workable if only they ensure that there will be equal opportunities for all youths.
And a Taxi driver, Samuel Phiri says because of a lack of jobs, he came up with an initiative to begin pirating his car, but says that despite his personal efforts to employ himself, Government is still hampering his efforts through the Road Transport and Safety Agency RTSA.
He says he understands that they have a job to do but that they must follow procedure because they are not criminals but are key stakeholders who play a pivotal role in the transport industry.
