Teachers in Lundazi and Petauke districts have been warned against engaging in examination malpractices.
Lundazi BEBS, District Education Board Secretary, Hebert Mwinga’s warning comes following the commencement of the grade twelve examinations.
Mr. Mwinga indicated that his office has completed briefing teachers and that he does not expect any of them to involve themselves in examination malpractices.
He observed that most pupils have failed in examinations because of depending on leakages.
Mr. Mwinga has advised pupils to study hard in order to pass, adding that pupils should be aware of conmen that may take advantage of the situation by providing fake examination papers.
And Petauke District Education Board Secretary, Fully Tembo has warned teachers against engaging in love relationships with pupils.
Mr. Tembo says that teachers should take a lead in providing quality education.
He was speaking during commemoration of World Teachers’ Day held in the district.
