Government says tendering procedure for the nine health posts to be constructed in Lundazi District are underway in Lusaka.
Lundazi District Community Medical Officer, Dr Allan Chisenga told Breeze News that the tendering procedure is being handled by ZPPA, the Zambia Public Procurement Authority.
Dr Chisenga stated that two contractors would be picked and soon move to the site after concluding with the tendering process.
He further revealed that about 350,000 Kwacha rebased will be spent on each health post.
And Dr Chisenga has expressed concern with vandalism that has characterised health posts in the district.
He noted with concern that stealing government material was disadvantaging communities because it is difficult to replace the stolen items.
