The January 20 PF-MMD Double Sim phone Campaign strategy causing confusion.

A serious tension is brewing between PF, Patriotic Front Party and MMD, the Movement for Multi-Party Democracy in Chipata District.
PF District Chairman, Ganizani Kakungu has told PF Secretary General Davis Chama during a meeting in Chipata today that MMD has caused a lot of tension over the alliance.
Mr. Kakungu says former republican president Rupiah Banda never spoke about the double sim phone campaign strategy when he endorsed President Edgar Lungu for January 20 presidential election.
He says there is need for the PF top leadership to properly explain the double sim phone campaign strategy, which was used in the presidential election.
And in response Mr. Chama advised PF members in the district to embrace the issue of double sim with MMD.
Meanwhile Mr. Chama has denied media reports that he influenced the decision of two aspirants who withdrew from the Petauke Central PF adoption race.
Elias Daka and William Banda who were leading contenders pulled out from the race without giving reasons.
