The Ministry of Health refutes allegations of poor services at Kapata Referral Clinic in Chipata.

The Ministry of Health has refuted allegations of poor services at Kapata Referral Clinic in Chipata.
Senior Clinical Officer at the District Health Officer, Patrick Mbewe says that the clinic has a way of running things and that they ensure that the patients are attended to on time.
Mr. Mbewe explained to Breeze News that there are different working shifts at the clinic.
This is to ensure that the clinic runs for 24 hours every day so that all the patients who seek medical attention at different times are given the services they need.
Mr. Mbewe was responding to complaints that medical staff at the clinic delay to attend to patients while others do not report for duty on time.
Meanwhile Mr. Mbewe says that works of constructing district health offices have almost reached roof level.
He says that despite the works delaying to be completed, there are no challenges faced because the building is funded by the government and that it is being done in phases.
