The Ngoni’s have refuted reports that Bemba’s have refused to allow them relocate the remains of Zwangendaba from Northern Province to Eastern Province.
Chief Madzimawe says that no one has the right to forbid a person who wants to get what belongs to him.
The traditional leader says that the Ngoni’s are still waiting for response from Chief Nawaitwika of the Bemba people in Northern Province on the matter.
The remains of Zwangendaba were discovered in Nakonde district of Mchinga Province.
Information has been going round that the Bemba people have refused to relocate the burial site of Zwangendaba because it is a historical site in their area.
