The Roman Catholic Church in Lundazi wants government to discipline Patriotic Front Party cadres.

The Roman Catholic Church in Lundazi district has appealed to government to institute discipline among political cadres in the district.
And St. Paul’s catholic chairperson, Francis Banda told Breeze News in Lundazi that an apology by Home Affairs Minister, Edgar Lungu to Father Viato Banyngandora is a clear indication that the government was informed about the grief of Christians on the deportation of the priest.
Mr. Banda who is also CCJP, Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace District coordinator says that the church feels that government is being governed by cadres and not professionals.
He further indicated that there is need to caution party cadres so that the head of state and cabinet are not brought into disrepute.
Mr. Banda says that the church is ready to work with the government of the day.
Home affairs Minister, Edgar Lungu on Thursday last week, apologised to Viato Banyangandora at St. Paul’s Catholic Church over his deportation to his home country last year.
