The three people charged with theft of 126, 410 Kwacha at Chipata’s Mount Meru Filling Station have pleaded not guilty to the charge in the Chipata Magistrate Court.
Appearing before magistrate Fred Munsaka was Felix Muntanga 40, a police officer and Godwin Inambao 30 who are charged with theft while Rozara Theresa Sandu 30, a filling station manager at Mount Meru, is charged with the offence of theft by servant.
Facts before the court are that the three while working together on Monday, 20 July, 2015 stole 126, 410 Kwacha cash, a property of Mount Meru Filling Station.
Magistrate Munsaka has set August 5, 2015 for commencement of trial.
The accused will remain in custody.
The three people in the Mount Meru Filling Station robbery case plead not guilty to charges of theft.
