The Immigration Department in Lundazi District has arrested 10 Malawian nationals for unlawful entry into the country.
Immigration Public Relations Officer Namati Nshinka has confirmed the development to Breeze News today.
Mr Nshinka says three other Malawi nationals have been arrested for a similar offence in Chipata District.
He warned people against staying in the country illegally stating that it is against the law to enter Zambia without proper documents.
And the Katete Magistrate Court has convicted and fined two Ugandans and One Malawian national 400 Kwacha each or six months simple imprisonment for unlawful entry into the country.
