Three Patriotic Front youths suspended for challenging Davies Chama’s leadership.

The Patriotic Front, PF party in Eastern Province has suspended three of its youths for issuing what it terms as misrepresentation statement of the party.
George Mwanza, Davy Lungu and Henry Mumba all of Chipata Central Constituency have been suspended from the PF for issuing statements in the media, pending expulsion by the Central Committee.
In the suspension letters by PF provincial secretary, Eddie Kapalu, the three have been claiming to represent PF youths in Eastern Province, when they in fact do not belong to any party structure.
Mr. Kapalu says that the three have also started a campaign against party secretary General, Davies Chama, thereby rising against Party and Republican President, Edger Lungu, who is the appointing authority.
He explained that the behaviour of the three youths has misrepresented party structures and brought the name of the party in the province into disrepute.
The trio has therefore been banned from holding any meeting in the name of PF or attending any party meeting.
Mr. Kapalu says that the police have also been informed to take action should the three do anything in the name of the PF party.
Meanwhile the MMD in Mambwe district has dropped all appointed members of the Malambo Constituency executive.
District Secretary, Moses Mwale has charged that the appointed members have been dropped because they are causing confusion over the adoption of a candidate to contest the impending parliamentary by-election.
Mr. Mwale says that the MMD lost the Ncheka Ward by-election because the same group was campaigning for Henry Mutiti, who wants to contest the parliamentary seat.
Mr. Mutiti is former Lusaka provincial information and publicity secretary.
