UPND gives Eastern PS Chanda Kasolo two weeks to relocate from Protea Hotel to his official house

The opposition UPND United Party for National Development, in Eastern Province has questioned the continued stay of Eastern Province Permanent Secretary, Chanda Kasolo at Protea Hotel instead of his official government house.
UPND Provincial Information and Publicity Secretary, Victor Mbuzi says that the money being spent in paying Protea Hotel could have been used to rehabilitate the permanent secretary’s house.
Mr. Mbuzi wondered why Mr. Kasolo says that his official house is badly dilapidated, when former permanent secretaries have been using it.
He said that Mr. Kasolo should move to his official house within two weeks.
And Mr. Kasolo says that the house is still being rehabilitated and he will move in immediately it is completed.
He explained that people should investigate his conditions of service before commenting on the matter.
Mr. Kasolo says that everything possible is being done in order to have the rehabilitation works completed as soon as possible.
