The United Party for National Development UPND has slammed the endorsements of President Edgar Lungu by MMD members of parliament in Eastern Province.
Provincial Chairperson, Paul Thole says that MMD is a finished political party and wondered what influence the MPs will have in the August 11 general elections.
Speaking to Breeze News this morning, Mr Thole wondered how many of the MPs that have endorsed Mr Lungu will be able to win elections in their constituencies.
All Eastern Province MPs apart from Levy Ngoma who is supporting UPND have endorsed Mr Lungu for the August 11 elections.
