UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has told Lundazi residents not to remain behind because the PF, Patriotic Front Party is finished.
Addressing Lundazi residents yesterday, Mr. Hichilema charged that people should not make a mistake of remaining behind like they did during the times of UNIP and MMD because UPND is the only party with solutions.
He stated that he was in Lundazi to warn people that the PF boat sunk a long time ago, following the demise of former President, Michael Sata while former vice president Guy Scott has also abandoned the boat.
Mr. Hichilema further advised people not to waste votes on political parties such as UNIP as UPND was the only party capable of removing the ruling PF.
He reminded the residents of Lundazi of what he described as unfulfilled promises by the Patriotic Front such as putting more money in people’s pockets.
The opposition leader promised that once voted into office, his first priority would be to end hunger in the country as there was so much food insecurity in the nation.
Mr. Hichilema stated that the increase in the floor price for maize from 75 to 85 Kwacha for a 50 kilogramme bag was meaningless because buyers in Malawi are buying the produce at 150 Kwacha.
