Zambia has beaten Botswana 2-nil to advance to the final qualifying stage of the Orange 2014 African Nations Championship in South Africa.
The Chipolopolo boys advanced to the second round 3-1 on aggregate after a dominating performance against the Zebras at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Saturday
The Chipolopolo boy’s first goal came through midfielder Festus Mbewe in the 48th minute of the game.
The Herve Renard drilled side doubled their lead in the 77th minute through striker Evans Kangwa.
Zambia will now face Zimbabwe or Mauritius, who are expected to lock horns this afternoon.
However, Zimbabwe go into the game with a 3-nil win in the first CHAN encounter played in Mauritius last Sunday.
