Zambians, who were arrested by Malawian game scouts, have been released.

All the Zambians from Chief Chanje’s area in Chipata, who were arrested by Malawian game scouts, have been released.
Chief Chanje confirmed that six of the people who were still being held in Malawi arrived back home on Sunday.
The Chief says that all those who were arrested, have been asked to meet at his palace, to receive more education on the importance of observing border rules.
Chief Chanje has thanked people, who helped to source the money to pay for the release of the subjects.
The traditional leader has advised his subjects, to avoid entering Malawi without permission.
In early December last year, 20 Zambians from Chief Chanje’s area were charged various amounts of money by the Malawian court, for encroaching in the Kasungu National Park.
A Few weeks later, Malawian game scouts entered Chief Chanje’s area where they picked four more people.
