Zambia’s Christopher Katongo is among five candidates competing for the BBC African Footballer of the Year 2012 award.
The Zambia skipper is joined by last year’s winner, Yaya Toure from Ivory Coast who plays for English Football Club Manchester City.
Others are Didier Drogba, Senegal’s Demba Ba and Morocco’s Younes Belhanda.
