ZESCO to inspect Msoro-Mfuwe power line after three days power blackout

The Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation ZESCO is to carry out an inspection of the Msoro-Mfuwe power line.
This follows a three days serious power blackout, which hit Mambwe district from Saturday to Monday.
ZESCO Regional Manager, Joseph Chilongo has told Breeze News that the power company will use binoculars to scan the whole power line.
Mr. Chilongo says that ZESCO wants to avoid a repeat of what happened, where line insulators and cut conductors were damaged and it was difficult to trace the fault.
Meanwhile ZESCO in Eastern Province is hosting inter provincial games for the company, which started Wednesday morning at David Kaunda Stadium in Chipata.
Mr. Chilongo says that that all ZESCO branches have formed regional teams, which will compete in various sports including football and netball.
